How Resort Properties helps
Resort Properties currently supports a number of registered charities and charitable initiatives.
One of the most important of these projects is the Christel House Foundation and for a number of years Resort Properties, Club members and Mr Trotta personally, have donated generously in support of the Foundation's endeavours.
"Bob Trotta demonstrates corporate and personal social responsibility. When we approached him in 1999 to lend support to Christel House, he enthusiastically agreed. Since that time, he and the Club have been loyal supporters of Christel House and have contributed over $200,000 to date. We are deeply grateful to Bob, Resort Properties and its member families for their generosity and hope that we can continue to count on their support."

In addition to this dedicated support, Resort Properties is involved with many other charitable projects around the world.
Another key programme is Nourish the Children which aims to eradicate the problems of malnutrition in many of the world's poorest areas.
The regular donations from the employees of Resort Properties feed more than 50 Malawi children every month and help support a new VITAMEAL factory which employs more than 400 staff in the local area.
Over the last two years, the sales team at Resort Properties has donated more than US$60,000 to the following causes:
• United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
• National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC)
• BBC Children in Need
• Cancer Research UK
• Other individual causes
In January 2005 Resort Properties collected more than US$100,000 for the victims of the tsunami catastrophe. Much of this money was donated to the construction of a school and orphanage for the hard-hit people of Sri Lanka.
In Jamaica, Resort Properties supports the local SOS Village at Rose Hall and the Horatio Alger Scholarship Foundation.
In 2009 Resort Properties began work on an accommodation block to house 60 AIDS orphaned children in Mombasa, Kenya. Funds for the project at the Marianna Glorious Academy were raised through a variety of initiatives including auctions, raffles and competitions.
"I am extremely proud of the charitable generosity shown by our members and the Group's employees. We have a responsibility to help others who are not as fortunate as ourselves, be it children in need or people going through difficult times."
Robert T. Trotta
